Registration Terms and Conditions (Updated 4/20/2023)

This registration agreement includes and incorporates by reference for Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) Privacy Policy and Terms of Use as posted on the KYSHRM Conference website.

You may also request a copy of the posted Registration Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use, by contacting us.

Age Limitation

Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend KYSHRM Conference. Requests for any exception to this term must be made in writing to Conference Management. Please submit request via email to: lgoff@kychamber.com

Photography, Audio and Video Recording*

Some of the KYSHRM Conference sessions may be recorded. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) reserves the right to use images and video captured during the Conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing or promotional materials without any further approval from you or any payment to you.

Registration and attendance at or participation in the KYSHRM Conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to KYSHRM’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such event and activities.

Participants may not record or broadcast audio or video of sessions at KYSHRM Conference.

Permission to Contact

By registering to attend this conference, you give Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) permission to share your contact information including your e-mail address with its sponsors and partners. You may be asked to complete a form at sponsor virtual booths and/or virtual session rooms, but please note completing those forms is optional. When completing a form presented by exhibitors and/or sponsors during the KYSHRM Conference, you are opting-in to receive communications from that entity. You will be subject to their communications and privacy policy and must opt out with them directly.

Soliciting

Suitcasing or outboarding is prohibited at the conference. We reserve the right to remove any individual from KYSHRM Conference if they are reported to be soliciting within the confines of the event and are not an event sponsor or exhibitor. We encourage general conference attendees not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor and request notification if a solicitation is suspected.

Admittance

In our sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the Conference anyone we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee. 

Code of Conduct

KYSHRM Conference participants are expected to behave professionally. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers at the Conference are required to agree with a code of conduct that ensures a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. In the sole discretion of KYSHRM Conference organizers, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the Conference, without refund, any person or persons that are determined as behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Conference or any other attendee.

Agenda

Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the conference agenda. Every effort will be made to keep presentations and speakers as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation topic or speaker.

Travel and Lodging

Participants are responsible for making and paying for all travel arrangements for participation in the Conference, including but not limited to transportation, lodging and meals.

Cancellations/Substitutions

Cancellations must be received no later than five business days prior to the event date in order to receive a refund. After this date, no cash refunds will be granted. Substitutions are welcome. Special accommodation made upon request.

Consent to use of Photographic Images

Registration and attendance at or participation in the KSHRM Conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to KYSHRM’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such event and activities.
